
COLISTAR
Composition:
Each 1 gm contains: Colistin (as Sulphate) 800 000 I.U.
Properties:
Colistin belongs to Polypeptide antibiotics, It is not absorbed from GIT and most commonly used orally.
Uses:
COLISTAR is highly effective against gram-negative bacteria. COLISTAR is used for treatment of gastrointestinal tract and diarrhea infections caused by (Enterobacter, Klebsiella, Salmonella. Pastcurella. E.coli and Pseudomonas). .
Dosage:
Poultry: 1 g per 2-4 liters of drinking water daily for 4-5 days. Preruminants and foals: 1 g per 20 kg body weight daily for 4-5 days.
Contra-indications / Side Effects:
Are not common at usual dosages.

In a dry, cool, and dark place between 15 - 25 °C.
