ERYTHROCIN - STAR
Composition:
Each 1 gm contains: Erthyromycin Thiocyanate 200 mg Colistin Sulphate 500.000 I.U
Properties:
Erthromycin thiocyanate used against gram positive and gram negative bacteria and for mycoplasma, it inhibits bacteria from forming protein which is necessary for its growth, colistin is highly active against gram negative bacteria particularly E. Coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas.
Uses:
For the treatment of chronic respiratory disease, coryza, infectious sinusitis, and synovitis, also for diseases caused by Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella, haemophilus and clostridium.
Dosage:
poultry: Treatment: 1 gm per 2 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days. Prevention: Half the dose of above treatment of the same period.

Withdrawal Time:
Meat for human consumption should not be used during treatment and for 7 days from the last dose.
Storage:
In a dry, cool, and dark place between 15 - 25 °C.
