METHENASTAR

Each 1 gm contains : Methenamine (Hexamine) 950 mg . Methenamine is rapidly absorbed from the gastro-intestinal tract, and reaches the urinary tract unchanged. In acidic urine, hexamine is slowly hydrolysed into formaldehyde which acts as a strong antiseptic against uro-pathogens and as diuretic.
