STAR AMOXY COLL
Composition:
Each 1 gm contains: Amoxicillin (as trihydrate) 200 mg Colistin sulphate 800.000 I.U
Properties:
Amoxicillin is a broad spectrum antibiotic with activity against gram positive and negative bacteria, it is completely absorbed from the gut. Colistin is highly active against many gram-negative organisms including Brucella, E.coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella and Salmonella.
Uses:
For prevention and treatment of different diseases such as colibacillosis, Clostridial infections, CRD, Omphalitis, Coryza, Salmonellosis, Sinusitis, Mycoplasmosis and enteritis.
Dosage:
poultry: 1 gm / 2 liters in drinking water for 3 - 5 days. Sheep, Goats: 2 - 5 gm per animal twice daily for 4 days. Calves, Foals: 3 - 6 gm per animal twice daily for 4 days. Cattle and horses: 8 - 10 gm per animal twice daily for 4 days.
Contra-indications / Side Effects:
It is not given to the layers.
Withdrawal Time:
Meat for human consumption should not be used during treatment and for one week from the last dose.
Storage:
In a dry, cool, and dark place between 15 - 25 °C.
