Composition:
Each 1 gm contains Doxycycline HCL 200 mg Colistin sulphate 800.000 I.U
Properties:
Doxycycline is abroad spectrum antibiotic which has high ability to penetrate into inflamed tissues, especially respiratory and nervous tissues. Colistin is highly effective against gram negative bacteria especially E. Coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas.
Uses:
Treatment of chronic respiratory disease (CRD), E-coli, Salmonella and Pasteurella infections. and synovitis and sinusitis caused by mycoplasma spp, and against stress factors also clostridium spp.
Dosage:
POULTRY : 1 gm per 2 litres of drinking water for 4-5 days. LARGE ANIMALS: 1 gm/10 kg of live body weight in drinking water for 4-5 days.
Contra-indications / Side Effects:
Doxycycline can be used in case of renal dysfunction ( with care)
Withdrawal Time:
Meat for human consumption should not be used during treatment for 5 days from the last treatment.
Storage:
In a dry, cool, and dark place between 15 - 25 °C.
