STARPRIM
Composition:
Each 1 gm Contains: Trimethoprim 40 mg. Sulphadiazine - Na 200 mg.

Properties:
Trimethoprim magnifies the effect of sulphadiazine by blocking transformation of folic acid into bio-active folic acid antagonist. On the other hand sulphadiazine avoids proliferation of bacteria by suppression of the p-aminobenzoic acid. Provatrim has a wide effect against gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria, and for different diseases in poultry and large animals.

Uses:
POULTRY: Salmonella, respiratory system, (C.R.D). CALVES AND LAMBS: Cases which caused by gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria such as: (Enteritis, E.Coli, Salmonella).

Dosage:
POULTRY: 1 gm per 2 litres of drinking water for 3-5 days. CALVES AND LAMBS: 1-2 gm per 10 kg of body weight for 3-5 days.

Contra-indications / Side Effects:
Do not use in case of intolerance to sulphonamides, severe hepatic, or renal dysfunction, not used with flumequine.

Withdrawal Time:
Treatment should be stopped at least 12 days before birds or animals slaughtering.

Storage:
In a dry, cool, and dark place between 15 - 25 °C.
