Composition:
Each 1 gm contains: Flumequine 200 mg
Properties:
Flumequine belongs to the quinolone group, which has a broad-spectrum activity against most infections, especially those of gram-negative bacteria.
Uses:
Infections caused by or associated with organisms susceptible to flumequine as: E. Coli, Salmonella, Coryza, and Fowl cholera.
Dosage:
POULTRY: PREVENTION: 1 gm per 4 liters of drinking water for 5-7 days. LARGE ANIMALS: 12-15 mg / kg body weight for 5 days.
Contra-indications / Side Effects:
Do not use flumequine with nitrofuran group, or with trimethoprim-Sulphonamide combination.
Withdrawal Time:
Treatment should be stopped at Least 48 hours before birds or animals slaughtering.
Storage:
In a dry, cool, and dark place between 15 - 25 °C.
